Services: Investment Policy Development

An investment policy is the cornerstone of a strong and stable institutional investment program. LCG believes that each client’s organization is unique and, therefore, develops an investment program that specifically addresses its distinct characteristics.

Typically, LCG recommends that clients adopt an Investment Policy for each portfolio that has a unique investment objective (i.e. Defined Benefit, 401(K), Foundation, Operating, etc.). Furthermore, we believe the program should be “strategic” or long-term rather than “tactical” or short-term, in scope. However, the Investment Policy must be dynamic enough to take advantage of and respond to economic, capital market, and program-related changes.
