About Us: Our Team

Mr. Emerson joined LCG Associates in 2003 and is based in the Seattle office. His client relationships include endowments, foundations, utilities, and healthcare organizations. In addition to lead consultant responsibilities, David conducts capital market and asset class research, investment manager due diligence, and special topical studies. He serves on the Investment and Risk Management Committees.

David also leads LCG’s teams focused on Environment, Social & Governance (“ESG”) and Nuclear Decommissioning Trusts (“NDTs”). David actively participates in ESG and NDT conferences as well as industry groups.

Prior to joining LCG, David worked for seven years in the investment consulting industry in a variety of roles from manager research to Consultant. David is a CFA charterholder. He is an active member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Atlanta. He is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charter Holder. David holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He graduated from the University of Michigan with an A.B. in Political Science. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking and golf.
